Pippa Middleton’s dress copied and on display

The Daily Mail are reporting that hours after the Royal Wedding, a replica of Pippa Middleton’s bridesmaid dress was created and put on display.

In Sydney the team of seamstresses recreated the Alexander McQueen gown in just a matter of hours.  Pippa’s replica dress was then put on display at the Queen Victoria building in Sydney along with other replicas from the big day.  The display has already attracted crowds of viewers.

According to the Daily Mail it is evident that the dress was created in a hurry:  some of the buttons down the spine are not in line and the materials appear cheaper, as the lace is different and the material is thinner.

Despite this, you have to remember that Pippa’s dress would have taken months – not hours – to complete, unlike the replica dress.
