Final cover design for Pippa Middleton’s book “Celebrate” and a quote from Pippa herself:

Several weeks ago, I blogged about Pippa Middleton’s book ‘Celebrate’, showing readers a picture of the cover sleeve, taken at a book expo in New York. It looks like that design was a mock up or a draft, as Penguin books have today released pictures of the official cover:

As you can see, the final cover isn’t that much different to the mock up. I think the final design is quite pretty, as the previous cover was very autumnal.

In a press release sent to me today, Penguin described Pippa’s book as a “comprehensive seasonal guide to simple and creative entertaining.”

Pippa released an official statement about her book, providing fans with the following quote:

This book is designed to be a comprehensive guide to home entertaining, based on my experience in my family’s party business, Party Pieces, and work for London-based events company, Table Talk. It is a useful and practical journey into British-themed occasions and I hope it offers welcome inspiration and ideas, most of which needn’t leave you alarmingly out of pocket. Entertaining on any scale can be stressful and daunting so this is all about finding ways to manage and enjoy the process.

I hope you will see this as a feel-good book with ideas to look forward to each month, providing threads of lasting, happy memories, be it around a table lit with candles in winter, outside on a rug in summer or in the autumn, perched on a leaf-covered bench, hot drink in hand.

The managing director of publishers Michael Joseph, a subsidiary of Penguin Books said:

Pippa Middleton’s first book is a truly inspiring treasure trove of fun ideas and creative suggestions for key celebrations throughout the year. We are delighted to be her publishers and to have worked with her on this milestone publication.’

Pippa’s book is titled is “Celebrate: a year of British festivities for families and friends.”

The book will be released on October 25th and Penguin in the UK says the recommended retail price is £25. Newspapers report that it’ll be published with Viking in the US and cost $50.

The change of the book cover is a bit disappointing. Although you did say that it was a mock up. I felt that the first cover was much more intimate when it came to Pippa and the book. Nevertheless, I like this new cover and will be buying the book once it comes out.
