Today The Telegraph newspaper is reporting that like sister Kate, Pippa is going to do her bit for charity. According to the newspaper, Dame Kelly Holmes reportedly said the following yesterday at the launch of the Forces Charity Challenge:
“Pippa [Middleton] is going to be doing something for my own charity leading up to the Games, I’m not really supposed to talk about it yet, so I can’t tell you any more”
Dame Kelly Holmes’ charity is The DKH Legacy Trust , which helps to create ‘life chances for young people.’ The charity gives young people the chance to work with, be inspired by and learn from world class sports stars, including Olympians, Paralympians, World, Commonwealth and European Champions. The team helps young people understand what it takes to overcome adversity and have the will to succeed in sport and in life.
Pippa’s sporting prowess:
Pippa is known for her love of sport and since stepping into the spotlight after sister Kate’s wedding this April, we’ve seen Pippa attend several tennis finals and competed in a few races, including the Blenheim Triathlon. She is frequently photographed jogging in her neighbourhood.
Here at Pippa Fan Site HQ we’re certainly looking forward to hearing more about Pippa’s forthcoming role, plus it will be interesting to see if she undertakes any further charity endeavours in the future. What a great way to use your new-found status, go Pippa!
