One:  how is Pippa able to brave the cold winter weather in so little clothing (For example, Pippa was in a thin t-shirt, leggings and a cropped jacket yesterday, while I was bundled up in 2 jumpers, jeans, a scarf and thick wool coat!)

And two:  do we hate or rate the leggings look?  Lots of opinions on Pippa baring her famous behind in a pair of clingy leggings and a short t-shirt, which of course gave the paparazzi plenty of opportunities to snap away!

A bit about Pippa’s Beulah scarf:

If you didn’t already know, Pippa’s heart print scarf is known as the “Shibani” by Beulah London.   If you purchase the scarf a proportion of profits goes towards the United Nations blue heart campaign to stop human trafficking.  Pippa also wore the scarf a few months ago too.

Update – Pippa is wearing a Ted Baker coat:

We can inform you, with thanks to the wonderful Michelle, that Pippa’s cobalt blue raincoat is from Ted Baker’s 2010 collection:

The coat was for sale in John Lewis at £114 last year according to Polyvore.com.   It was described as an “immaculate coat” that features a “wide collar and double breasted detail”, plus it has “delicate stitching and hem detail throughout”.

Pippa’s black & white dress:

Pippa’s dress is by Suzannah, a designer we’ve seen Pippa wear on a number of occasions in the last few months.  Specifically, the dress is the “Peter Pan Collar Column Dress” which retails at £475.  It’s described as a classic “soft, lightweight 100% Italian Wool and Silk” shift dress, which can be worn in the day or dressed up for evenings.

With the dress, Pippa wore her black Modalu handbag and her pair of Nicholas Kirkwood Patent Leather Loafers.

Pippa wore a creamy beige coat with coordinated grey/silver accessories:

Pippa’s outfit:

Pippa’s coat forms part of Katherine Hooker’s coat collection; it is known as the contrast coat, costs £725 and it is made-to-order.  This particular design is in the colour ‘creme brulee.’  The coat is made from lambswool twill and features grey/silver velvet cuff and pocket trims.

Pippa happens to be wearing the same colour way as the model on the Katherine Hooker website, suggesting that either Pippa ordered the same coat as she liked it so much, or Katherine Hooker had a number of ready to wear coats made in this colour ready for purchase.  A fun guess would be that perhaps Katherine Hooker had a selection of coats left over, (perhaps the very one from this photoshoot) and gifted them to the Middleton sisters!  (Needless to say, this isn’t even a rumour, just a thought/musing in my mind!)

Eagle-eyed Middleton fans will notice Kate wore the same coat (in different colours) back in February this year, to launch the new Trearddur Bay lifeboat “Hereford Endeavour” in Anglesey, Wales.  With kind permission of JeanM1 on Flickr, I’m able to show this picture of Kate from the event.  I know you can’t see the coat very well, but I’ve been wanting to share this picture since I first saw it, as it’s so candid.  How wonderful it must have been to take such a lovely, close photo!

Pippa’s accessories:

As ever, there’s plenty of discussion surrounding Pippa’s accessories, with many speculating that she’s wearing the same Rupert Sanderson ‘Malone’ shoes that Kate wore to the Order of the Garter ceremony back in June.  However, we now know this is untrue.

Pippa’s shoes and handbag came from Emmy Shoes, based in London.  You may remember that Pippa wore a pair of sandals designed by Emmy Shoes back in October too.

Pippa’s earrings are also new; they’re a chandelier or “dangling” style earring with silver sparkly leaves.  Over on our Facebook page, Gillian H informs us that Pippa’s earrings are from high street favourite Accessorize!  They’re certainly very, very similar… and costing only £15? Well that’s a complete bargain!  They’re known as the “Pretty Petal Chandelier Earring“.

Finally, it has been confirmed that Pippa’s hat was designed by milliner Gina Foster.  You may also remember that Pippa wore a small, purple prickly hat to a wedding a few months ago by the same designer.

While in Suffolk, Pippa also visited a salon to get her hair blow-dried, presumably for the wedding.

Here’s an excerpt from a local newspaper:

David Beckett, who owns Number 25 Hair Salon, said Pippa and two pals had enjoyed their visit to the shop ahead of the ceremony.

Pippa’s hair was prepared by stylist Tom Chapman.

Mr Beckett said: “She [Pippa] said it was a local wedding and we didn’t want to press her on that. She was a little bit shy and was reading Hello magazine, looking at pictures of her sister on some of the pages and we noticed a little smile on her face.

“There was a nice atmosphere. We’ve had a few football players in but she tops the list of our high-profile clients.”

It seems that Pippa also spent some time in Suffolk before the wedding, including shopping at a Christmas market and dining out with an old flame:
